Ever After Writer
I will always write.
And I will always write romance.
I enjoy thrillers, romcoms, adventure, mystery, heck I’m a low key gothic horror fan. But the thing that any book, movie or tv show has that makes me deep sigh, with complete satisfaction, is a romance.
I want to make my own stories, and so do you.
Inviting anyone who wants to learn how to write a great story, but specifically a great romance.
Follow me and I’ll show you everything I’ve learned, am learning, and will discover. I want to take practical story structure and focus it through the romance lens as I launch my first historical romance series.
3 Things

Structure in Romance
You ever wonder why some romances stick with you and others don’t? I do. And I want to talk about it with you.
I’m trying to learn everything I can about great stories.

Genres
Romance can be told in any genre, but Romance itself is a genre on it’s own. The focus here is Romance as a genre but we will explore romantic subplots in things like mystery and fantasy as well.

Life Long Learning
I am learning constantly and I want to share what I’m finding. Chronicling this journey I’m on is also a huge part of why this blog exists.
In two years, that’s right, Sept. 2022, I want to have my ‘Brookhouse Series’ rolling out. There are three books in the initial installment, two of those have been first – drafted (ish). I’m plotting book #3 right now, planning to NaNo it in November 2020.
The information I share is based off of what I’ve learned myself leading up to this wish fulfilment. My Bio is <HERE>
Speaking of Wish Fulfilment…check out my thoughts on these types of stories here ❤
What I hope you’ll say
I struggled with implementing the story structure templates I had seen on to my romance, but now it makes so much more sense!
― Someone, somewhere, hopefully.
There are soooo many different ways to tell a romance. Know and respect your reader and give them the feels you promised.
― Other genre writer taking Romance more seriously.
